商品説明
A highly rare and sculptural Rolex Cellini Ref. 3586/8, crafted in solid 18K yellow gold and dating to the mid-1970s (circa 1975, based on serial number).

This exceptional timepiece represents a lesser-known but deeply fascinating chapter of Rolex history, where the brand explored pure form, proportion, and artistic expression beyond its iconic sports models. The integrated case-and-bracelet construction creates a bold, architectural silhouette that feels closer to modernist jewelry than conventional watch design.

The watch features an original natural lapis lazuli dial, preserved in outstanding condition with no cracks, showcasing deep blue tones and subtle natural variation unique to each stone. Stone dials of this type were produced in extremely limited numbers, and examples in this condition are rarely encountered today.

Housed within is a manual-winding Rolex Caliber 10.5, a slim and reliable movement developed specifically for elegant dress and jewelry watches. The case measures approximately 25mm, paired with an integrated bracelet fitting a wrist size of 16.5cm. Total weight is an impressive approximately 103.6 grams, underscoring the substantial presence of solid gold throughout.

The watch underwent a full overhaul by Rolex Japan on October 31, 2008, and is accompanied by official service documentation. It has remained unused since servicing and has received only a very light polish, retaining sharp lines and excellent overall condition.

While often categorized as a ladies’ model by size, this piece transcends conventional gender definitions and is best understood as a unisex, design-driven Cellini, appealing to collectors of rare gold watches, stone-dial Rolexes, and avant-garde 1970s design.

Examples of this reference—particularly with a lapis lazuli dial and integrated gold bracelet—are virtually never seen on the market. It is a watch that prioritizes rarity, material value, and sculptural beauty over mass recognition.

This is not a typical Rolex.
It is a quietly powerful statement, combining horology, jewelry, and tangible asset value in a single, irreplaceable object.
