Product Description
Vacheron Constantin "Lapis & Gold" — The Art of Fluid Geometry

This 1980s Vacheron Constantin feels more like a jewel than a watch — a delicate oval of lapis lazuli set within a golden chain of sculpted circles. Behind its elegance lies the hand of Georges L'Enfant, the legendary Parisian goldsmith whose atelier also created bracelets for Hermes, Cartier, and Van Cleef. His signature rope-twist links, formed from woven strands of 18K gold, move with the softness of fabric, shimmering gently with each motion of the wrist.

Each circular link joins through a knotted joint — both decorative and structural - giving the bracelet its fluid rhythm. The surface catches light like silk, alive with warmth and subtle irregularity, the kind that only true handcraft can achieve. This is not perfection by precision, but perfection by feeling.
At the center rests an ultra-thin oval case holding a pure lapis lazuli dial - a fragment of night sky framed in gold.

The blue glows with mineral depth, scattered with pyrite stars. Minimal hands and a discreet signature preserve the purity of form, allowing the dialogue between gold and stone to remain uninterrupted.

Inside beats the manual-wind Caliber 1430, a hand-finished movement adjusted in five positions. Its absence of a rotor gives the case remarkable thinness — only about six millimeters - letting it merge seamlessly with the bracelet.
This unity of case and link transforms the watch into a continuous sculpture, where mechanics becomes poetry.

This piece embodies a rare alliance: the discipline of Geneva and the sensual artistry of Paris. It belongs to an era when elegance meant restraint, when touch mattered more than excess. To wear it is not to measure time, but to feel it — the quiet rhythm of gold and lapis breathing together on the skin.

A wearable sculpture, luminous and silent, where beauty outlasts time itself.
