| The watch presented here is the Phidias, launched in the 90's, the sports line launched after the 222. This is a Chronometre Royal model equipped with Jaeger-LeCoultre Cal.889/1, VC1126, which differentiates it from the regular model, Ref.48010 Automatic (Frederic Piguet). The regular model, this one is printed with "Royal" and is a special piece made for the wealthy. The finely detailed guilloche is very beautiful, and the supplement bracelet is at the level of craftsmanship. The watch is also wonderfully thin, and while it is a sports watch, it also has the dignity of a dress watch. The size is 35mm, which is appropriate for the 90s, and the thickness is 8mm, which makes it fit like a dress watch. It is not overly flashy, and while being chic, it is also powerful. It is truly an elegant, luxurious, yet understated sports watch. The mechanism has been maintained at our partner's workshop. It has not been polished. |
