Product Description
This Piaget Ref.24001 is the perfect piece to launch our “Lapis Festival,” celebrating the artistry of natural stone dials. With a refined 34mm case and automatic movement, it embodies Piaget's blend of luxury and practicality.

What immediately captivates is the deep cobalt blue lapis dial. Its organic surface is illuminated by pyrite inclusions that shimmer like tiny stars in the light. Each dial is unique, offering an unrepeatable visual signature.

One of this model's defining elements is the stepped bezel. Unlike a flat bezel, this tiered design slopes outward, creating subtle depth and reflecting light in dynamic ways. It visually balances the case size and introduces a sculptural quality that feels both classic and modern. This bezel style is a hallmark of Piaget's early 1980s aesthetic.

Inside beats an in-house ultra-thin automatic caliber—a rarity, since most lapis models from this era were hand-wound. This movement allows for daily use without sacrificing elegance. The case back bears clean “Automatic” and serial engravings that confirm authenticity.

We've paired this watch with a Bordeaux saffiano leather strap by Molequin. The deep red tone and textured finish add a contemporary touch, while the subtle stitching brings out the dial's vibrant blue. Together, they create a refined contrast that feels distinctive and modern.

Another highlight is its excellent condition. Lapis dials are prone to cracking, but this one is beautifully preserved without fractures or chips. The gold-tone indices and hands remain vivid, and the case edges are crisp, underscoring its originality.

As the first chapter of our Lapis Festival, this piece shows why these dials are so special: they combine individuality, depth, and timeless elegance. Over the coming weeks, we'll share more lapis creations—each with its own story and character. We hope you'll enjoy this celebration of blue dials as much as we do.
